We have published our South West Herts digital place portrait. This is an interactive map and dashboard that brings together lots of data in order to help people across South West Herts better understand the area and its social, economic and environmental characteristics. You can access the dashboard here. There is also the opportunity to complete a short surveythat will help us to understand the user experience and make further improvements.
February 2024
A position statement on water infrastructure has just been added to our Key Documents page. This outlines the current position with regard to infrastructure needs for both potable water and wastewater across South West Hertfordshire and considers whether there are any expected ‘showstoppers’ with regard to supporting expected growth levels.
November 2023
We have reached a real milestone in preparation of the South West Herts JSP, with all of the authorities having now endorsed a vision and objectives to guide our future work. This final vision document, together with the associated consultation reports which set out how engagement feedback influenced the final wording is available on our Vision page.
August 2023
A Technical Note- Establishing a South West Hertfordshire Settlement Hierarchy, has now been published. The purpose of this note is to establish a South West Hertfordshire Settlement Hierarchy that will inform the preparation of the South West Hertfordshire Joint Strategic Plan (JSP). It reviews and reflects the Settlement Hierarchy studies produced to date at district level.
